U3A Costa Brava

Insight - One of our largest projects, the U3A Costa Brava site has helped to decrease admin overhead and offer more beneficial services to its members. The U3A Costa Brava is one division of the global organisation, the U3A. It is an organisation for people no longer in full time employment providing educational, creative and leisure opportunities in a friendly environment.
Brief - They already had a simple static website, but due to their rapid growth and success, the U3A was becoming difficult and time consuming to manage. They wanted a user friendly way to automate their processes and allow their members to interact with the site.
Tech Blurb - We developed a comprehensive yet user friendly management tool which was designed exclusively for a U3A meaning that every feature was fully customised for their needs. The site was built using ASP.NET and widely used AJAX to help enhance the user experience.

Pluswork Ltd

Insight - Pluswork is a small recruitment firm based in the north-west of england providing temporary and permanent work services for over 30 years.
Brief - To design and implement a dynamic website to give them an internet presence which can be easily kept up to date by employee's of all skill levels. The site must be interconnectable with the company's internal database so that job vacancies are automatically available online and candidates can apply online.
Tech Blurb - Using a content management system built in-house using a combination of PHP/MySQL, all content is stored in a database allowing for easy manipulation, re-use and customisation.

Tony French

Insight - Tony french has been designing and building bespoke bathrooms for over 19 years. Creating some of the best bathrooms in the Northwest of England is his passion and drive.
Brief - To build a website to showcase all of Tony's creations. Animation and user interactivity should be used for maximum impact. The ability for the user to add new creations as and when required is essential.
Tech Blurb - Using a flash gallery system, images are retrieved dynamically using XML so they can be quickly and easily replaced or removed. HTML and CSS are used for the pages as there are relatively few to update. Google tools have also been used to help drive traffic to the site.

Physiotherapy in Stock

Insight - Physiotherapy in Stock is a Sports Injury & Physiotherapy clinic located on the outskirts of the tranquil Essex village of Stock. The private clinic provides a professional, personal service in the provision of effective and proactive treatment for musculoskeletal injury and pain.
Brief - To build a simple yet impressionable website to help attract new clients in a very short timescale. As the information changes infrequently, updates to static pages requiring an off-line editor are acceptable. A primary driver is getting good search coverage in Google, which should lead to many visitors.
Tech Blurb - A fairly simple static site with only a few pages - HTML and CSS being the key technologies used. Google Analytics has also been implemented to analyse the sites visitors and report on their browsing patterns. A link through to Google Maps also gives visitor friendly directions to the clinic.
